🔍 About the Role: Assystem Energy & Infrastructure Ltd is growing, and we’re seeking a dynamic Electrical Building Services Lead Engineer to lead our most exciting projects across Nuclear, Defence, New Build, and Infrastructure. You’ll provide top-notch technical leadership, working with high-profile clients like Sellafield, Rolls-Royce, EDF, BAE, F4E, and Hinkley Point.

👷 What You’ll Do:

⚡ Lead Discipline Role of Electrical Building Services technical team. Team comprises Electrical Building Services Engineers & Designers

📝 Review technical deliverables and support team with checking / approval activity

👥 Manage Electrical Building Services team and activities to ensure delivery—prioritising quality and time—plus coordinate with Axiom design discipline Lead Engineers (Mechanical/Ventilation, CS&A, Process)

🤝 Manage interface with Stakeholders representing Systems, Mechanical, Process, CSA, Project, etc.

📊 Deliver period-end status updates to Key SL Stakeholders

📁 Collate current design documents using SL systems including Cimage & SL Quality Management System

🎓 What You Bring:

🎓 IEng or CEng

⚡ Experience in Design Delivery of recent UPS & Electrical Building Services for Sellafield Ltd

🚨 Understanding and application of Fault Alarms Interfacing

🔥 BAFE Qualified for any Fire Detection minor ancillary connections/design

🛠️ Familiar with Fit For Purpose Solutions vs Engineering Standards

🗣️✍️ Confident in Verbal and Written Communication

**Security clearance**



This role requires the successful candidate to hold a minimum of a Security Check (SC) clearance without any caveats to that clearance.



Due to the nature of work this role will be delivering and for the protection of certain assets, the successful candidate has to be a UK national or in MoD approved cases a Dual National from a non-ITAR country.
