Electrical Construction Manager – Data Centre – Heathrow

We are currently partnering with a multidisciplinary consultancy with a global record of successful delivery on a range of projects including, but not limited to, Data Centres, Recladding, Medical Projects, Nursing homes, Clinics and many more.

Due to continuous growth, they are now seeking a well experienced Electrical Construction Manager to lead the electrical package on a Data Centre construction project in Heathrow.

Responsibilities

* Electrical Package Delivery

Take full ownership of the electrical scope across HV/LV distribution, UPS, generators and associated infrastructure, ensuring delivery aligns with programme milestones, energisation strategy and phased handover requirements.

* Design & Coordination Management

Work closely with design and site teams to coordinate electrical systems with mechanical, ICT and architectural packages, resolving clashes and ensuring a buildable, fully integrated solution.

* Subcontractor & Vendor Oversight

Manage electrical subcontractors and specialist vendors on site, driving progress, maintaining quality standards and ensuring all works are delivered in line with project specifications.

* Testing, Commissioning & Energisation

Oversee the testing, commissioning and energisation of electrical systems, working alongside commissioning teams to ensure resilience, redundancy and performance requirements are achieved.

* Compliance & Handover

Ensure all installations comply with relevant UK regulations and client standards, supporting certification, documentation and a smooth transition through to final handover.

Requirements

Must have relevant degree level qualifications or equivalent trades background

Must have 8+ years’ experience in a similar role on large scale construction projects including Data Centres

Must be based within a commutable distance of Heathrow

Benefits

£550 - £600 per day DOE
Only candidates based in UK and eligible to work in UK are allowed
