Job Description - Electrical Design Engineer

Electrical Design Engineer – Residential Building Services
?? Office-based near Chatham, Kent | Up to £55,000 | ?? Mon–Fri, 8am–5pm

? Working in the role Based in the Kent office, you’ll be a key part of the design team...
Your day-to-day will include:

Producing design packages (cable calculations, schematics, layouts, specifications)
Designing systems like lighting, power distribution, fire alarms, and security
Coordinating your designs into CAD drawings
Collaborating with other disciplines and supporting estimators when needed
Attending client meetings and offering technical input
Staying on top of evolving regulations and technologies

What We’re Looking For

2+ years of experience in electrical design for residential building services (2D)
Must be commutable to the Kent office
Strong knowledge of cable calculations, schematics, and UK regulations
Confident, proactive, and able to work independently
Revit experience is a bonus (but not essential — they’ve got that covered!)
