Your new role
As an Electrical Design Engineer, you will play a pivotal role in the development of cutting-edge products. You'll be responsible for designing and testing electrical schematics, producing technical documentation, and ensuring compliance with industry standards. This is a hands-on role where your expertise will directly influence the performance, safety, and innovation of the company's product range. Key responsibilities include designing electrical schematics, drawings, and Bills of Materials (BOM), producing technical documentation including work instructions and maintenance manuals, leading R&D initiatives and supporting new product development, designing and implementing electrical testing methods. Ensuring compliance with ISO 9001 and health & safety standards and collaborating with cross-functional teams to resolve technical queries. Mentoring junior engineers and contributing to continuous improvement

Mon - Fri, early finish Friday.

What you'll need to succeed

Ideally you will have a HND or equivalent in Electrical/Electronic Engineering (or relevant experience). Minimum 5 years' experience in a similar electrical design role. Proficiency in AutoCAD, SolidWorks, and EPLAN. Strong understanding of electrical design standards and regulations. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills and ability to work independently and as part of a team.
