Electrical Design Engineer

An exciting opportunity has arisen for an Electrical Design Engineer to join this leading machinery design and manufacturer based in the Essex area.

My client is part of a world leading organisation specialised in the development and production of solutions to a variety of industry sectors

Due to continued growth, they are seeking an Electrical Design Engineer to alongside the Automation Technicians to produce the electrical wiring diagrams for their electrical control systems.

The role requires someone who is has a systematic approach to their work with attention to detail. Assisting with the ongoing drawing transition from AutoCAD to EPLAN and working with the rest of the Automation Department to agree on methods of working and drawing

Standards.

Key skills required for Electrical Design Engineer based in Essex:

• Formal Electrical Engineering Qualification (e.g. Apprenticeship)
• AutoCAD or EPLAN P8 experience
• Familiarity with Automated production machinery or other similar capital equipment
• Has worked in a project environment in cross-functional project teams
• Experience of generating electrical drawings and panel Layouts, with supporting electrical documentation.

The position can be a mid to senior Electrical Design Engineer looking to be involved with design of world leading products.
