The Opportunity In this multifaceted role, you'll work at the cutting edge of mobile catering innovation—balancing electrical compliance with creative, practical engineering design. This is your chance to take the lead in driving smart, sustainable, and safety-first solutions that blend functionality, aesthetics, and technical excellence.
Key Responsibilities

• Sign off on all electrical work in compliance with Irish and EU standards (e.g. ETCI, IS 10101).
• Create and revise CAD drawings using AutoCAD, SolidWorks, or similar software.
• Solve engineering challenges from concept through to delivery.
• Champion innovation in energy efficiency and usability.
• Liaise with internal and external teams across production, R&D, and client services.
• Maintain accurate wiring schematics, certification documents, and design records.

What You’ll Bring

• Degree or Diploma in Electrical Engineering or related field.
• Registered to certify electrical works in Ireland.
• Minimum 3 years' experience in a similar manufacturing, automotive, or mobile unit environment.
• CAD proficiency (2D & 3D).
• Hands-on experience in electrical and mechanical problem solving.
• Strong communication and documentation skills.

Desirable Extras

• Knowledge of vehicle/trailer electrics (12V/24V, solar, inverters).
• Familiarity with LPG/gas safety systems.
• Background in bespoke or custom-built manufacturing.
• Passion for sustainability and eco-conscious innovation.
