Electrical Engineer

Connect Appointments is recruiting an Electrical Engineer to join an established manufacturing business based in Dunfermline.

Full-time permanent position after a 3-month probationary period
Monday to Friday, 8am to 4:30pm - early finish on Fridays
£17.00 per hour
Overtime and bonuses available
33 days holiday per yearAs an Electrical Engineer, your duties will include:

Installing and fault-finding 12V and 24V vehicle electrical systems
Fitting lighting, marker lamps, beacons, reversing cameras, trackers and other ancillary equipment
Reading and working from engineering drawings and wiring diagrams
Carrying out vehicle and body electrical repairs and installations to a high standard
Ensuring all work is completed safely and efficiently in line with quality standardsTo be considered as an Electrical Engineer, you will need:

Experience in commercial vehicle body building and/or auto electrics
Strong knowledge of 12V and 24V vehicle electrical systems
Confident use of workshop tools and equipment
Good problem-solving skills with strong attention to detail
