Excellent opportunity for a motivated individual from an electrical engineering background to transition into the renewables sector and develop within a company who are industry leaders.
The company are well established, with 20+ years of experience in the field, and in recent years have increased their focus on being a specialist renewable manufacturer. They are leaders within the green hydrogen sector, with a global presence operating across the European and American markets. The company continues to grow from strength to strength looking to expand their team and dominate their specific energy sector.
In this role you'll working alongside the EC&I team to deliver front-end engineering design and equipment specification/selection for major EPC projects that the company is involved with. This will involve ensuring that all power supply specifications meet technical requirements, project needs, and industry standards. You'll also be expected to work effectively with other arms of the business including procurement, compliance and project management teams, as well working with external stakeholders such as client, vendors, and suppliers.
The ideal candidate will come from an electrical engineering background and will have a can-do attitude and a keen attention to detail. Experience with electrical/hardware planning and process engineering is advantageous but not essential. Candidates must be able to work well within a team and demonstrate good communication skills.

The role Supporting with project planning and specifying/selecting power electronic systems Designing electrical power systems and producing relevant technical documents Producing electrical system drawings, schematics and diagrams Inputting at all states of project delivery and liaising with key vendors and stakeholders throughout 8:30am-5pm
The person Educated to HNC level in Electrical Engineering (bachelor's degree advantageous) Some experience with electrical/hardware planning and process engineering (advantageous) Proficiency with electrical design software, hardware and electrical CAD, and Microsoft, Excellent communication skills Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
