Job Description:
Our Client is seeking an experienced Electrical Engineer with a strong background in manufacturing to join our team. This role focuses on supporting capital expenditure (CAPEX) projects, equipment troubleshooting, PLC programming, and contractor management. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with equipment installations and a practical approach to maintaining and optimizing industrial control systems.

Skills, qualifications, and experience:

Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to diagnose issues and make sound decisions based on data.
Proficient in PLC programming, troubleshooting, and diagnostics.
Working knowledge of industrial and commercial control systems.
Experience with Variable Frequency Drives (VFDs).
Ability to manage multiple projects and coordinate with cross-functional teams.
Practical, hands-on approach to equipment maintenance and installation, with minimal focus on design.

Qualifications and experience:

Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or Electrical Controls required.
Minimum of 5 years of experience in a manufacturing environment.
Proven experience leading CAPEX projects and equipment installations.
Hands-on expertise in PLC programming, equipment troubleshooting, and control systems.
Demonstrated ability to manage contractors and oversee project execution.
Experience with power distribution and industrial instrumentation/controls.
