Electrical Estimator

We are currently recruiting for an experienced Electrical Estimator to join a growing M&E contractor based in the Solent area.

The successful candidate will have previous electrical estimating experience within the M&E/building services industry, ideally working on large-scale or multi-million-pound projects.

Responsibilities:

* Preparing accurate tenders for electrical building services projects

* Reviewing drawings, specifications and tender documentation

* Completing detailed take-offs and labour/material costings

* Obtaining and assessing supplier and subcontractor quotations

* Identifying commercial risks, opportunities and value engineering options

* Working closely with Pre-Construction, Design and Commercial teams

Personal Requirements:

* Previous experience as an Electrical/M&E Estimator

* Strong knowledge of commercial electrical systems

* Experience with take-offs and tender submissions

* Good commercial awareness and knowledge of current market rates

* Confident using Excel and estimating software

* Excellent attention to detail and communication skills
