Electrical Estimator

About the Role

We are looking for an enthusiastic and detail-focused Electrical Estimator.

This is a great opportunity for someone with at least 1 year of estimating experience who is looking to develop their career within the electrical and construction industry.

Key Responsibilities

* Preparing accurate and competitive estimates and quotations.

* Reviewing drawings, specifications and tender documentation.

* Carrying out material and labour cost calculations.

* Obtaining and reviewing supplier and subcontractor quotations.

* Liaising with suppliers, subcontractors, clients and internal teams.

* Identifying costs, risks and potential commercial opportunities within projects.

* Ensuring estimates are completed accurately and within agreed deadlines.

* Supporting the wider commercial and project teams throughout the tender process.

* Maintaining accurate estimating records and documentation.

About You

The successful candidate will have:

* A minimum of 1 year’s experience in estimating.

* Excellent attention to detail and a methodical approach to work.

* Good numerical and analytical skills.

* Strong communication and organisational skills.

* The ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines.

* Good knowledge of Microsoft Excel and other standard office software.

* A willingness to learn and develop within the electrical industry.

* £40,000–£50,000 salary, depending on experience.

* A hybrid working arrangement — Monday to Thursday in our London office and Friday working from home.
