Based within a modern Construction Skills Centre, you'll play a key role in delivering industry-leading apprenticeship training across Electrical Installation and Fire, Emergency & Security Systems.

In this role, you'll deliver engaging practical and classroom-based teaching to apprentices and adult learners, supporting them to develop the technical knowledge, practical skills and professional behaviours required to succeed within the electrical and fire/security industries.

The ideal candidate will hold a Level 3 qualification in Electrical Installation (or equivalent), have strong industry experience, and possess knowledge of electrical installation alongside fire alarm and/or electronic security systems. Previous teaching experience is beneficial but not essential, as full teacher training can be provided.

The Role
Deliver practical and classroom-based teaching across Electrical Installation and Fire & Security programmes
Teach apprentices and adult learners within workshop and simulated industry environments
Carry out learner assessments, progress reviews and provide ongoing mentoring

The Person
Level 3 NVQ/Diploma (or equivalent) in Electrical Installation
Strong industry experience within Electrical Installation, Building Services or a related sector
Knowledge or experience of Fire Alarm and/or Electronic Security Systems
Passionate about developing others and keen to move into teaching
Teaching qualification desirable but not essential (full training available)
