Job Title: Electrical Fitter

Location: Gloucester

Employment Type: Permanent, Full-Time

Salary: £27,000 - £31,500

• Read and interpret technical electrical drawings
• Install and secure cables, looms, switches, and electrical devices
• Fabricate and fit cable trays, trunking, and conduits
• Assemble wiring looms and terminations to engineering specifications
• Conduct soldering, drilling, tapping, and panel wiring tasks
• Use electrical test and measurement equipment accurately
• Assemble electrical panels and termination boxes
• Maintain high standards of health, safety, and environmental compliance
• Collaborate effectively with internal teams and external stakeholders
• Uphold company policies and values at all times

Essential Skills & Experience:

• Strong background in panel wiring and electrical fitting in industrial settings
• Confident in reading and interpreting complex electrical diagrams
• Hands-on experience with hand tools, electrical panels, and measuring equipment
• Proactive, quality-focused approach to problem-solving
• Excellent teamwork and communication skills
• Positive, self-motivated mindset

Desirable (Not Required):

• Formal qualifications in Electrical or Electronic Engineering
• Experience in manufacturing, engineering, or technical assembly environments

• Electrical measurement instruments
• Electrical panel systems and termination boxes
• General hand tools and workshop equipment (e.g. pillar drills)
