Contract Electrical Fitter / Machine Wirer

3 Month Minimum Contract – 37.5 Hours – Monday to Friday Days

£21p/h LTD / UMB - OUTSIDE IR35

PAYE - Equivalent to £32k

5D Recruitment is proud to be working exclusively, and in partnership with a leading engineering company based in the heart of the home counties. Employing nearly 50 people they design, manufacture, assemble, test, and ship bespoke machinery from their new, world-class facility.

They are market leaders in the concept design and manufacture of fully automated, high precision, bespoke machines which are used to complete complex functions required to guarantee the quality of the product. Working across a variety of industries their main markets include the medical and scientific sectors.

They have long-standing agreements with some of the most renowned manufacturers in their sector, with a growing order book, combined with an excellent pipeline the future is looking exciting.

What the Role Will Involve:

* Building a bespoke machine, electrically, from the ground up.

* Wiring up the panel from schematics and wiring diagrams.

* Machine wiring - including instrumentation, robotic systems, HMI’s, camera systems, motors, pumps etc.

* Working with the engineering team throughout the build and test phase.

* Some basic mechanical fitting.

What we are Looking in a Candidate:

* Time-served, electrical engineering background.

* Experience of building and wiring machines or building electrical systems.

* Can read engineering drawings, including schematics, layout drawings etc.

* Ideally experience in panel building / wiring – however they are happy to train in this part of the role.

What we can offer the successful candidate:

* Outside of IR35 contract.

* Regular Overtime – 37.5 hours a week, with some overtime – this can’t be guaranteed.

* 3 months initially, with the chance of either a contract extension, or a permanent role.
