Job Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Electrical Fitter to join our manufacturing and assembly team. In this role, you will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing electrical systems and components within various machinery and equipment. The ideal candidate will possess strong technical expertise, mechanical knowledge, and proficiency with electrical tools to ensure the safe and efficient operation of electrical systems. Responsibilities

• Assemble electrical components using hand tools, power tools, and surface mount technology techniques to meet precise specifications.
• Install, test, and troubleshoot electrical systems, including wiring, circuit boards, and programmable logic controllers (PLCs).
• Conduct routine maintenance and repairs on electrical equipment to minimize downtime.
• Interpret technical drawings, schematics, and wiring diagrams accurately for installation and troubleshooting.
• Ensure compliance with safety regulations and quality standards during all assembly and maintenance activities.
• Collaborate with mechanical teams to integrate electrical systems seamlessly into machinery.
• Document work performed, including repairs, modifications, and inspections for quality assurance purposes.

Experience

• Proven experience as an Electrical Fitter or in a similar electrical assembly role within manufacturing or industrial environments.
• Proficiency in using hand tools, power tools, and surface mount technology for assembly tasks.
• Familiarity with programmable logic controllers (PLCs) and their programming or troubleshooting.
• Strong electrical experience combined with mechanical knowledge to understand complex systems.
• Experience working with electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, and technical documentation.
• Knowledge of safety protocols related to electrical work is essential.
• Ability to work independently or as part of a team in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
