Location: Southampton / South Coast — covering work within approximately 1 hour's drive of Southampton (occasionally up to 1.5 hours for the right job). Avoiding travel towards Brighton due to traffic.

About the Company

We're recruiting on behalf of a growing solar installation start-up based on the South Coast, founded by people with significant sector and business experience. Operating as a full-system solar installer across both commercial and domestic sectors, they're a close-knit team where everybody's contribution has a genuinely meaningful impact. As the company grows into new technologies, including Air Source and Air Conditioning, there's real scope for early joiners to shape their own role and progress as the business expands.

About the Role

We're looking for an Electrical Improver to join a growing team delivering full-system solar and battery installations across domestic properties. This is a genuine opportunity to develop towards full qualification while working alongside an experienced team, for someone who wants to build a long-term career rather than simply take on a job.

Requirements

* 3+ years' electrical experience

* NVQ Level 2, working towards Level 3

* Full, clean driving licence

Package

* £40,000–£46,000 per annum, dependent on experience and competence

* 28 days' annual leave (often with additional days over Christmas/New Year)

* Company van option after successful completion of probation (3 months)
