Salary:

• Unqualified: £30,282 - £33,058 per annum, plus an annual Market Rate Allowance (MRA) of £2,000

• Qualified : £32,102 - £37,141 per annum, plus an annual MRA of £4,000

Hours: 37 hours per week, year-round

Contract Type: Permanent

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a permanent, full-time Electrical Installation Lecturer to join a well-respected and forward-thinking college in South Lincolnshire. You'll be part of a dynamic and highly regarded engineering and construction department, helping shape the next generation of electricians.

Whether you're an experienced lecturer or a seasoned industry professional looking to take your first step into education, this role offers excellent support and professional development opportunities.

• Deliver engaging and high-quality practical and theoretical sessions to learners aged 16+ and adults.

• Supervise student progress, provide support and constructive feedback on coursework and assessments.

• Mark work and conduct assessments in line with awarding body criteria.

• Inspire, motivate, and raise the aspirations of students through your subject knowledge and enthusiasm.

• Work collaboratively with colleagues to continuously improve teaching delivery and learner experience.

• 37 hours per week.

• A Level 3 qualification (or higher) in Electrical Installation is essential.

• Must have hands-on, industry-relevant experience in electrical installations (domestic, commercial, or industrial).

• A teaching qualification (e.g., AET, PGCE) is desirable but not essential-full training and support will be provided for the right industry professional looking to move into teaching.
