Salary: £47,500 – £52,500 per annum plus over time (total earnings circa 60k per annum)
Hours: Full Time

Our client is a family-run business that was established in 1999. They provide a complete end-to-end service, covering design, project management, installation, commissioning and ongoing technical support. As their business continues to grow, they are looking for an experienced Electrical Installation Engineer & QC to join their Projects Team and play a key role in delivering high-quality electrical installations. Key Responsibilities

Install, terminate, test and commission electrical.
Interpret electrical schematics, wiring diagrams and technical installation documentation.
Carry out cable routing, containment works, panel wiring and electrical terminations in line with relevant regulations and industry standards.
Complete inspections, testing, fault diagnosis and repairs across electrical and control systems.
Produce accurate installation reports, commissioning records, test results and compliance documentation.
Work collaboratively with project managers, clients and design engineers to ensure projects are delivered safely and effectively.
Maintain high standards of safety, quality assurance and technical compliance.
Provide technical guidance and basic operational training to customers, colleagues and other engineers.
Provide technical support to the Projects, Design, Service and Sales Teams, including electrical system integration and design validation.
Work flexibly when required to meet project deadlines and operational demands.

Essential Qualifications & Experience

NVQ Level 3 in Electrical Installation or equivalent, ideally gained through an apprenticeship.
BS 7671 – 18th Edition Wiring Regulations.
ECS Gold Card, or actively working towards obtaining one.
Experience in electrical installation within a commercial or industrial or environment.
An Inspection and Testing qualification, such as City & Guilds 2391.
At least two years' experience in inspection and testing.
A full UK driving licence, ideally with no endorsements.
Desirable Experience The following would be a significant advantage:

Qualified Supervisor (QS) experience, supporting NICEIC compliance under the direction of the Electrical Supervisor.
Experience supervising and supporting competent electrical engineers.
Experience carrying out site surveys, statutory inspections and validation testing.
Strong fault-finding and diagnostic skills, including electrical system repairs.
Experience delivering operator training and providing technical support to customers.
