This further education institution is expanding its Work-Based Learning provision and is now looking to bring on a passionate and qualified Trainer Assessor for Electrical Installations. With a strong reputation for staff development and employer collaboration, this is an exciting opportunity to transition into education while maintaining your technical roots.

In this role, you'll coach, assess and guide apprentices working toward their electrical qualifications. You'll have autonomy in planning your visits and training, supported by a team committed to learner success and industry excellence.

The ideal candidate will have a Level 3 qualification in Electrical Installations and hold or be willing to work towards an Assessor qualification. A driving licence and willingness to travel to learner sites are essential.

The role

  Delivering one-to-one support and assessment to apprentices
• 
  Planning training sessions in line with apprenticeship standards
• 
  Managing your own caseload and schedule
• 
  Engaging with employers and ensuring quality learner progression

The person

• 
  Level 3 Electrical Installations qualification
• 
  Vocational experience in the electrical field
• 
  Holds or willing to work towards TAQA or equivalent
• 
  Full driving licence and willingness to travel
• 
  Passion for mentoring and supporting learners
