About the Role:
Our client, a reputable further education college on the Isle of Wight, is seeking a dedicated Electrical Installations Lecturer to join their team.This role involves delivering high-quality teaching and learning experiences to students pursuing Level 2 and 3 qualifications in Electrical Installations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Plan and deliver engaging lessons in Electrical Installations for Level 2 and 3 students.

• Develop and update course materials in line with industry standards.

• Assess student progress, provide constructive feedback, and support learners in achieving their qualifications.

• Maintain accurate records of student attendance, assessments, and progress.

• Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations during all practical activities.

Essential Qualifications and Experience:

• Recognized Level 3 qualification in Electrical Installations (e.g., NVQ Level 3, City & Guilds 2365).

• Teaching qualification (e.g., PGCE, CertEd) or willingness to obtain one.

• Assessor qualification (e.g., TAQA, A1) is desirable.

• Proven industry experience as a qualified electrician.

• Strong communication skills and the ability to inspire and motivate students.
