Electrical Maintenance Engineer (Artisan Food Manufacturer)

£45,000 to £50,000per annum; however, may vary depending on experience. Benefits include employee discount on company products, sick pay, life insurance, a 5% company pension, holiday entitlement consisting of 30 days per annum, company parking and training on PLC's offered.

On offer is the opportunity for Multiskilled Electrical Maintenance Engineer to join a long-standing, traditional and handmade artisan food manufacturer that first originated 40 years ago; with their bespoke and original recipes dating back to 600 years prior, this business have won several awards consistently, including the Queen's Award for Enterprise; thus, proving that the quality of the products this company produces, requires a candidate matching this standard. Furthermore, this company ships nationwide around the UK, as well as internationally to Oceania and the US - making their annual turnover 55-60 million per annum.

In this role, the individual will be required to complete a multitude of tasks daily, such as identifying and eliminating cost-related issues harming the company's production and value output, follow orders tasked by the engineering team leader on site, and a basic knowledge of Microsoft office.

The ideal individual will have a NVQ3 or similar in an engineering discipline and apprenticeships/ work experience training. The applicant must be also be equipped with strong analytical skills, and specialise in electrical engineering.

The Role:

• Will require preventive and reactive maintenance on site, also providing support to the production team.
• 60/70% electrical with the remaining mechanical.
• Training on PLC's.

The Person:

• Electrically biased maintenance, preventative and reactive.
• Local to Dorchester.
