Electrical Maintenance Engineer

Elevation Recruitment Group are working with an FMCG manufacturer based in Consett to recruit an Electrical Maintenance Engineer

The Maintenance Engineer will be responsible for day to day maintenance and repairing machinery and equipment to ensure optimal performance and minimal downtime.

Key responsibilities of the Electrical Maintenance Engineer will include:

• Complete fault finding, planned and preventative maintenance on plant and equipment to maximise equipment reliability and performance
• Conduct regular maintenance checks and inspections of machinery and equipment.
• Carry out fault finding, problem solving
• Perform preventive maintenance tasks to extend the lifespan of equipment.
• Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations.
• Collaborate with other departments to address maintenance-related concerns.

Skills and Qualifications of the Electrical Maintenance Engineer:

• Proven experience as an Electrical Maintenance Engineer or in a similar role.
• Time served accredited apprentice
• Worked in an FMCG environment
• Electrical qualification 
• Proficiency in using diagnostic tools and equipment.
• Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills
