Hours: Mon–Thurs 07:30 – 16:00 / Fri 07:30 – Early Finish

Electrical Maintenance Engineer Responsibilities:

• Assemble, install, maintain, test, and repair a wide range of electrical plant and associated components.
• Conduct in-service inspection & testing of electrical equipment (PAT) in line with compliance requirements.
• Perform fixed testing as per regulation requirements for all units.
• Carry out general commercial electrical maintenance.
• Work at height to access warehouse areas for electrical repairs/installations.
• Liaise with external contractors for larger electrical projects when required.
• Address and resolve any electrical defects identified in external inspection reports.

• Undertake breakdown maintenance on facility equipment.
• Conduct routine preventative maintenance to ensure smooth operation of all facilities equipment.
• Utilise tools ranging from common hand & power tools to precision measuring instruments.
• Provide feedback on external H&S Compliance reports; organise resolutions and update maintenance schedules.

Electrical Maintenance Engineer Requirements:

• Qualified in commercial electrical installations:
  • Level 3 City & Guilds (2391, 2394 & 2395)
  • AM2 (Achievement Measurement 2)
  • 18th Edition Wiring Regulations
• Demonstrable experience as a commercial electrician.
• Experience in building maintenance repairs and the ability to work independently.
• Strong understanding of statutory and non-statutory documents.
• Familiarity with Guidance Notes 1-8, BS7671 On Site Guide, and BS7671 Regulations.
