Electrical Maintenance Engineer

Elevation Recruitment Group are seeking a skilled and experienced Electrical Maintenance Engineer to join a manufacturing based in Knaresborough

Salary: £45 - £50k
Shifts:

• Days / Afters/ Nights, 
• 6-2/2-10/10-6
• Monday to Friday - 1 in 6 Saturdays

Benefits:

• Pension is matched up to 5%.
• 5% employee, 5% employer.
• Holidays are 25 days plus bank holidays.

The Electrical Maintenance Engineer will be responsible for maintaining and repairing electrical systems and equipment to ensure optimal operation and minimal downtime.

The role requires a proactive approach to problem-solving and a commitment to maintaining high standards of safety and efficiency.

Responsibilities of the Electrical Maintenance Engineer:

• Conduct regular inspections, maintenance, and repairs of electrical systems, machinery, and equipment.
• Troubleshoot electrical issues and diagnose faults to determine the best course of action.
• Perform preventive maintenance tasks to prevent equipment failure and extend the lifespan of machinery.
• Ensure all work is carried out in compliance with relevant safety regulations and company policies.
• Collaborate with other maintenance team members and departments to ensure smooth operations.
• Keep accurate records of maintenance activities and report on equipment performance.
• Stay updated on the latest electrical engineering technologies and industry best practices.

We are keen to speak with Electrical Maintenance Engineer with the following:

• NVQ level 3 
• Apprentice trained
• Proven experience as an Electrical Maintenance Engineer
• Proficiency in using electrical testing and diagnostic equipment
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
• Good communication skills to interact with team members and other departments
