Electrical Maintenance Engineer
Location: Denton, Greater Manchester
Salary: Circa £50,270 per annum (paid weekly) – inclusive of allowances + benefits

The role follows a 3-week rotating shift cycle:

• Week 1: Tuesday to Saturday (day shifts)
• Week 2: Monday to Friday (afternoon/evening shifts)
• Week 3: Sunday to Thursday (day shifts)
  Includes paid and unpaid breaks.

Key Responsibilities

• Install and maintain electrical and electro-mechanical plant equipment
• Operate and contribute to preventative electrical maintenance systems
• Fault-find and repair equipment and systems
• Program and troubleshoot Siemens and other PLC systems
• Use electrical testing equipment to diagnose and rectify faults
• Attend and respond to equipment breakdowns efficiently
• Promote lean working practices and contribute to SSOW documentation
• Maintain quality standards in line with ISO 9001

• Level 3 qualification (or above) in Electrical Engineering
• Strong experience in a factory or manufacturing environment
• Comfortable working independently or as part of a team
• Confident in fault-finding and diagnosing electrical motors and pneumatics
• Knowledge of health and safety processes (EHS)
• Flexible and proactive approach to changing priorities
• Physically fit to meet the demands of the role

• Time-served apprenticeship
• 17th or 18th Edition qualification (training can be provided)
• HNC/HND or equivalent
• Experience within heavy manufacturing
