Make your mark in a pivotal electrical engineering role We’re working with a well-invested industrial processing business that has recently undergone major upgrades. They’re seeking an experienced Electrical Engineer to join their multi-disciplinary maintenance team. If you’re someone who thrives in a hands-on, fast-paced environment and takes pride in knowledge-sharing and continuous improvement, this could be your ideal next step.
The Opportunity: As an Electrical Engineer you’ll play a key role in:
Carrying out preventative and reactive maintenance across plant machinery and equipment
Diagnosing electrical faults, especially on PLC control systems and instrumentation
Supporting the wider team by sharing expertise and upskilling junior engineers
Contributing to the continuous improvement of PPM strategies and engineering projects
Operating safely and responsibly in a demanding environment, with respect for safety standards and operational efficiency
Your work will directly contribute to minimising downtime, improving plant reliability, and strengthening team capability.
About You: We’re looking for someone who can bring:
Solid experience in electrical engineering within an industrial/process plant environment
Strong skills in fault finding and working with control panels, PLCs, and instrumentation
The confidence and autonomy to lead electrical work and support a younger, mechanically-biased team
The ability to work effectively in challenging conditions (odours, oil residues, corrosive environments)
Desirable:
Experience in biofuels, recycling or oil processing industries
Familiarity with off-site equipment servicing (occasional requirement)

Regular paid overtime due to ongoing project work
Monday to Friday day shift (08:00 to 16:30), 40-hour week
Informal callout rota among team members, no structured shift work
