Your day-to-day responsibilities will include planned preventative maintenance, responding to breakdowns, diagnosing machine faults, and installing and repairing plant and equipment. You'll also identify opportunities to improve reliability and work alongside other departments on engineering projects, with safety at the forefront of everything you do.

This is a genuinely hands-on Electrical Maintenance Engineer / Maintenance Electrician position where you'll be dealing with equipment including 3-phase systems, motors, gearboxes, conveyors, PLCs and inverters.

What We're Looking For

You'll need solid electrical maintenance and fault-finding skills, including experience with 3-phase systems, together with a minimum 18th Edition electrical qualification. Experience gained within manufacturing, heavy industry, production or plant maintenance would be particularly relevant.

Experience with any of the following would be advantageous: motors and gearboxes, conveyors, PLC fault finding, inverters, hydraulics and pneumatics. Mechanical skills such as fabrication, welding, machine-shop work and general plant repairs would also be beneficial, although the key requirement is strong electrical competence.
