You will be electrically biased and have experience working within a manufacturing environment. As a Multi-Skilled Maintenance Engineer, you will play a key role in maintaining and improving plant, machinery and services to ensure production runs safely and efficiently. Offering £21.26 per hour (£48,640 per annum), working a 48-hour week over 4 days, with 24 days annual leave and additional company benefits. As a Multi-Skilled Maintenance Engineer your role will involve: Carrying out planned preventative maintenance across plant, machinery and site services Diagnosing faults and carrying out repairs on production equipment to minimise downtime Maintaining, repairing and improving plant, machinery and associated services Installing and commissioning new equipment as required Supporting engineering and continuous improvement projects across both sites Carrying out electrical fault-finding, repairs and maintenance on automated equipment Diagnosing and resolving faults within PLC-controlled systems Working on automated electro-mechanical systems to ensure equipment operates safely and reliably Ensuring all maintenance activities meet food safety and health and safety standards Working closely with production and engineering teams to support efficient manufacturing operations Hours of work: 48 hours per week over 4 days, working a rotating 3-week pattern; Week 1: Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday Week 2: Wednesday, Thursday, Friday and Saturday Week 3: Monday, Tuesday, Friday and Saturday Ideal Candidate: Apprentice-trained Electrical Engineer, qualified to NVQ Level 3 or equivalent Multi-skilled Maintenance Engineer with a strong electrical bias. 17th or 18th Edition Wiring Regulations Experience in PLC fault-finding, repair and programming Strong electrical and mechanical diagnostic and fault-finding skills Experience working with automated electro-mechanical systems Minimum 5 years' manufacturing experience, ideally within FMCG Food manufacturing experience would be advantageous Full UK driving licence and own transport due to working across two sites If you are interested in this role - APPLY NOW via the job board Apply Auxo Talent HR Services, Recruitment & Selection 37 Jobs The company is part of Company Profile In Short Industry HR & Recruitment, Engineering & Manufacture Founded 1967 Location Derby: Badger Farm, Willowpit Lane, Hilton, Derby, DE65 5FN Northampton: Suite 15, Grovelands Business Park, West Haddon Road, East Haddon, NN6 8FB Company size 11-50 About Us At Jenrick Engineering, we specialise in sourcing and placing top-tier Technical, Operations, Engineering and Projects staff for manufacturing clients across the UK.
