Electrical Maintenance Technician

Zenith People are working with our client who are recruiting for an Electrical Biased Maintenance Technician on a permanent basis.

Shift pattern (Contientals) - working hours are 6:30am to 18:30pm or 18:30pm to 6:30am, working a 7-day shift pattern. The shift rotation pattern is based on a pattern of 2 days on / 2 days off / 3 nights on / 2 days off / 2 days on / 3 days off. The pattern provides for every other weekend off and runs over a 4 week cycle with an average of 42 hours worked per week.

Responsibilities:

• React quickly to breakdowns on site
• Resolve any technical issues with plant machinery
• Perform Planned Preventative Maintenance
• Comply with quality standards and Health and Safety regulations
• Fault find on various types of machinery, including PLC's
• Work under minimal supervision
• Prioritise work load to ensure the smooth running of the production line.

Person specification:

• Must be time served with a electrical bias
• Excellent fault finding and problem-solving skills are essential
• Good communication and team playing skills are necessary
• Must be able to work alone as well as within a team.
