Electrical Maintenance Technician

Position: Maintenance Technician

Contract: 12-month contract

Location: Peterborough

Pay Rate: £18.45-£23.45p/h PAYE

Monday to Thursday: 8:00 AM - 4:00 PM Friday: 8:00 AM - 3:30 PM

As a crucial part of the Emissions Measurement Services department, you will balance your time between independent project ownership and collaborating closely with a wider team of expert engineers. Your daily role will consist of:

Maintain and control the complex gas systems used across the facility to measure gaseous engine emissions.

Liaise directly with suppliers, manage gas ordering, and keep all critical records and documentation pristine.

Proactively problem-solve any challenges

Install, service, calibrate, and evaluate a fleet of cutting-edge emissions measurement equipment.

Conduct diagnostic investigations and total preventative maintenance (TPM).

Assist engineers with technical investigations into current and future emissions technologies within a laboratory setting.

What We Are Looking For

Technical Apprenticeship with an electro-mechanical bias, or equivalent extensive industry experience.

A strong understanding of Root Cause Analysis techniques and permanent corrective actions.

The ability to read and interpret complex technical drawings, schematics, and written instructions.
