Electrical / Mechanical Pump Engineer

Location: Midlands / South Midlands (UK-wide travel required)
Salary: Up to £45,000 per annum (based on a 45-hour working week) + Overtime + Excellent Benefits

An established engineering company specialising in water and wastewater pumping systems is looking to recruit experienced Electrical/Mechanical Pump Engineers due to continued business growth.

This is an excellent opportunity to join a well-respected business offering long-term career progression, regular overtime, and ongoing training.

The Role

* Installation, service and maintenance of commercial and private pumping stations.

* Electrical and mechanical fault finding on pumps, control panels and associated equipment.

* Planned preventative maintenance and reactive breakdown work.

* Installation of pumps, valves, pipework and control systems.

* Working across a range of sectors including local authorities, utilities, leisure and commercial sites.

* Completing job reports electronically and maintaining van stock.

* Occasional overnight stays and emergency call-outs.

About You

* Minimum 3 years' experience servicing, repairing or installing pumps or similar rotating equipment.

* Strong mechanical and electrical fault-finding skills.

* Experience working on pumping stations, wastewater, drainage or water treatment equipment.

* Able to read technical drawings and use hand and power tools confidently.

* NVQ Level 3 (or equivalent) preferred.

* 17th/18th Edition, CSCS, First Aid or Confined Space certifications are advantageous, although training can be provided.

* Full UK Driving Licence.
