Our client will consider applications from candidates without an electrical qualification but knowledge or experience in this area.

HOURS: Mon - Fri, 09:00 - 17:30 (paid hours outside these may occasionally be required).

SALARY: £30,000 to £37,500 per annum, depending on experience.

About The Job:

As an Electrical PAT Testing Engineer, you will play a key role in ensuring the safety and reliability of both in-house and customer equipment. Your responsibilities will include:

• Conducting inspection, testing, and maintenance of hire stock electrical distribution units and equipment.
• Maintaining accurate records and adhering to schedules for equipment readiness.
• Working in compliance with company Health & Safety documentation.
• Performing maintenance and repairs on Audio, Lighting, Power Distribution, Cabling systems, and Rigging equipment.
• Assisting with new-build equipment projects as needed.

The ideal candidate will possess:

?? 18th Edition Qualified Electrician certification

?? City & Guilds qualifications in Inspection & Testing (e.g., 2391, 2392, 2394, 2395)

? City & Guilds 2377 qualification in PAT Testing

?? Proven experience with Portable Appliance Testing and knowledge of 3-phase systems

?? Good verbal and written communication skills

? Ability to work independently and as part of a team

? Strong prioritisation and workload management skills

?? Computer literacy, including Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook

?? A valid UK driving licence
