Social housing experience is a must for this role! Along with NVQ L3 + AM2 + 2391 - (or equivalent) and Full UK driving license. About the Electrical QS role You’ll take a key supervisory position within a well-established electrical services provider, overseeing engineers across London and the Southeast while working closely with the Hertfordshire head office. This is a hands-on, people-focused role where your technical knowledge and leadership will directly shape the performance and development of the wider team. You’ll carry out site visits, sign off certification, deliver toolbox talks, support engineers with technical queries, and ensure all works meet safety, compliance, and quality standards. You’ll also play a major part in continuous improvement, training, and maintaining a strong safety culture. What you’ll do as an Electrical QS Lead, mentor and support Site Supervisors, Engineers and Improvers Carry out onsite supervision visits and post-inspection reviews Ensure all works meet regulations, safety standards and company procedures Deliver toolbox talks, technical updates and team briefings Complete electrical testing, inspection, installation and maintenance when required Review and sign off certification, working closely with QAs Prepare quotations, variations and order materials Monitor WIPs to ensure timely completion Support incident investigations and escalation processes Maintain your own CPD and ensure your team’s is up to date Contribute to business improvement and KPI-driven initiatives What you’ll need Level 3 Diploma in Electrical Installations (or equivalent) NVQ Level 3 + AM2 City & Guilds 2391-52 BS7671 – 18th Edition Proven experience in a supervisory or qualified supervisor role Strong leadership, communication and organisational skills Full UK driving licence What we offer an Electrical QS £55,000 salary Company car + fuel card Private healthcare contribution Increasing holiday allowance with service Supportive sick pay and wellbeing policies Test equipment & PPE provided Access to a fully stocked warehouse Ongoing training & development in a dedicated training centre Clear progression opportunities A supportive, values-driven team culture Regular team events and celebrations The ideal candidate Experienced electrical professionals who enjoy leading and developing others People who take pride in safe, compliant, high-quality work Confident decision-makers who can support engineers on site Those who want a stable, long-term role with genuine progression If you are interested in the Electrical QS role, have any questions or wish to apply; then please send us a copy of your CV and I’ll be in touch via call or SMS to send your application to the client.
