We are currently seeking an experienced Electrical Senior Authorised Person (SAP) to join our clients team on a temporary to permanent basis. The successful candidate will play a key role in ensuring electrical safety, compliance, testing, inspection, and quality standards are maintained across multiple projects within the London and South East region.
This role requires a highly competent electrical professional with strong technical knowledge, excellent organisational skills, and the ability to maintain accurate records using digital systems.
Essential Qualifications & Experience Approved Electrician status as a minimum SMSTS (Site Management Safety Training Scheme) – if not currently held City & Guilds 2391 Inspection & Testing qualification 18th Edition Wiring Regulations qualification Proven experience in electrical testing and inspection Computer literate with good IT skills Full UK Driving Licence (preferred)Training Provided
First Aid Qualification – arranged by client if not held Key Responsibilities Undertake duties associated with the Senior Authorised Person (SAP) role. Carry out testing and certification of electrical installations as required by TDE. Complete general electrical installation work when testing or SAP duties are not required. Conduct monthly inspections of all TDE electrical projects across the London and South East region to ensure compliance with TDE Code of Practice. Maintain accurate records of all testing, inspection, and compliance activities. Update and manage information within company and national databases as required. Attend meetings associated with the SAP function. Liaise closely with the National SAP Manager and relevant project teams. Ensure all electrical works are completed to current industry regulations, company procedures, and health and safety requirements.
