Electrical Service Technician

The Company

Nigel Wright is pleased to be working with an internationally recognised, market leading business, recruiting an Electrical Service Engineer, to support the Engineering team at their site in Sunderland.

They have won significant new business over the last few years and are consistently growing as a result.

The role will involve frequent travel, including national and international. All expenses are covered.

The Role

The Electrical Service Engineer responsibilities -

• Marking out, assembling, and wiring back panels in manufacturing facility
• Fault finding with relation to control panel issues
• Proactively visiting customers to carry out service visits
• Offering a consultative service to all customers regarding use of products
• Advise and train plant operators and maintenance personnel
• Efficient and accurate electrical maintenance across manufacturing site
• National and international travel to service equipment

The Person

The Electrical Service Engineer will have:

• Qualification in Electrical Engineering to NVQ L3 standard or above
• Experience working with electrical systems
• Health and safety mindset to ensure all risks are understood before work is commenced
• A strong work ethic and the desire to support continual improvement activities
• Self-motivated with the ability to work effectively within a small team and autonomously

Earning potential of circa £45,000 in your first year.
