Electrical Shift Engineer

Great vacancy for a junior Electrical Shift Engineer to gain exposure to a high end commercial property which is a short walk from Euston train station. You'll be joining a long standing, well respected building service provider and be part of a tight knit maintenance team!

This is a static role, following a fixed shift schedule of 4 on / 4 off, (Day shift only, no nights)

Electrical Shift Engineer duties:

• PPM (Planned preventative maintenance) & Reactive maintenance
• Electrical Fault-Finding
• Single & Three Phase Power
• Emergency Lighting
• Fire Alarms
• BMS Operation
• AHUs
• FCUs
• Generators
• VAV/VRFs
• Water Treatment (Tap Tests, Dosing, Cooling Tower Checks, etc).
• Cooling Towers
• Pumps & Motors
• Site Folders, E-logbooks, Managing Contractors, Audits, Quotations

Electrical Shift Engineer Requirements:

• Fully qualified in Electrical Installations (City and Guilds / EAL / NVQ or equivalent) + 17th edition minimum
• At least 3 years experience in commercial building maintenance
• Good knowledge of commercial mechanical and electrical systems
• Client facing skills
• Apprentice trained would be desirable, not essential
