Electrical Shift Leader

We are currently recruiting for an experienced Shift Leader to join the on-site engineering team at a prestigious commercial site in Central London. This is an excellent opportunity for a driven individual with strong technical knowledge and leadership skills to play a vital role in a fast-paced, client-facing environment.

The Role:
As Shift Leader, you’ll be responsible for overseeing a team of engineers and ensuring the smooth running of all building services. You’ll be the key point of contact for HV operations, day-to-day maintenance, and client interaction.

Your Responsibilities Will Include:

• Leading shift operations and supervising engineers on planned and reactive tasks
• Managing high-voltage systems including issuing permits, writing switching schedules, and overseeing safe isolation procedures
• Conducting PPMs and reactive maintenance on a variety of M&E systems, including:
  
  • Air handling units (AHUs)
  • Fan coil units (FCUs)
  • Pumps, motors, and valves
  • BMS controls
  • Lighting and emergency lighting
  • Generators and UPS systems
• Monitoring site performance through SCADA and BMS systems
• Logging and tracking works via CAFM systems
• Supporting client meetings, reporting site updates, and ensuring SLA compliance
• Mentoring junior engineers and helping to develop team capabilities

What We're Looking For:

• Experience in a similar Shift Leader or Senior Engineer role within a commercial building environment
• Strong understanding of HVAP systems - a current or recently expired HV ticket is acceptable, and full HV re-certification will be provided
• Confident working in a client-facing role, able to communicate clearly and professionally
• Proficient in CAFM systems and Microsoft Office
• Familiarity with SCADA/BMS systems and Genie Evo (preferred)
