Electrical Supervisor West of Scotland (Project-Based)

Position Overview: We are seeking an Electrical Supervisor to manage site electrical teams and oversee installations on projects valued up to £4M. This role will involve new build schools, student accommodation, and office developments. The ideal candidate will ensure high-quality workmanship, compliance with standards, and efficient delivery of electrical packages.
Key Responsibilities:
Supervise and coordinate electricians and subcontractors on site. Oversee electrical installation packages from planning to completion, up to £4M in value. Ensure compliance with statutory regulations, IET Wiring Regulations (BS 7671), and company quality standards. Interpret electrical drawings, specifications, and technical documentation. Schedule work, monitor progress, and report on site activities to the Project Manager. Conduct inspections, site testing, and quality checks to ensure safety and workmanship standards are met. Manage resources, materials, and equipment efficiently to maintain productivity. Liaise with clients, consultants, and other trades to ensure smooth project execution.
Essential Requirements:
Proven experience as an Electrical Supervisor on new build projects. Experience managing electrical packages up to £4M. NVQ Level 3 or equivalent in Electrical Installation or Engineering. Strong knowledge of UK electrical regulations and standards (BS 7671). Excellent leadership, communication, and team management skills. Ability to read and interpret electrical drawings and specifications. Health & Safety certifications (SMSTS, SSSTS, CSCS). Full UK driving license.
