Electrical Supervisor – Industrial Project

Rate: £33.00 per hour
Duration: 1–2 weeks
Start: Wednesday 4th or Thursday 5th November 2026
Hours: Monday to Friday, 7:00am – 4:30pm
LGP Consultancy is currently recruiting an experienced Electrical Supervisor on behalf of a well-established MEP contractor for a short-term industrial project in Leeds.
The successful candidate will be working on a CDM-controlled site at a Stericycle facility, opposite Knostrop Sewage Treatment Works in Leeds.
The project involves electrical works associated with a failed industrial incinerator, so previous experience within industrial, manufacturing or process environments is essential.
The Role
*
Supervising electrical installation activities on an industrial site.
*
Overseeing electricians and ensuring work is completed safely and to specification.
*
Coordinating daily site activities and monitoring progress.
*
Ensuring compliance with CDM regulations and site health and safety procedures.
*
Maintaining a safe working environment and ensuring the workforce follows site requirements.
*
Liaising with site management and other trades to support the smooth delivery of works.
Requirements
*
Valid SSSTS certification – essential.
*
Previous experience as an Electrical Supervisor.
*
Strong industrial electrical installation background.
*
Experience working on CDM-controlled sites.
*
Good understanding of electrical health and safety requirements.
*
Ability to coordinate and supervise site electricians effectively.
