Electrical Supervisor

Overview:

We are currently seeking a highly skilled and motivated Site Electrical Supervisor to join our dynamic team. This critical role is established to fulfill our Construction (Design and Management) Regulations 2015 (CDM 2015) responsibilities, specifically concerning the control and supervision of Electrical, Control, and Instrumentation (EC&I) installations. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in electrical engineering, with a specific focus on installation and maintenance within a project environment. Security Clearance (SC) is a requisite for this role due to the sensitive nature of the projects involved.

Key Responsibilities:
Oversee and supervise all aspects of EC&I installation and maintenance activities on-site, ensuring compliance with CDM 2015 regulations.
Conduct regular audits and inspections to monitor the progress and quality of electrical work, ensuring all activities meet the required standards and safety regulations.
Establish and implement effective supervision arrangements for electrical installation and maintenance activities, documenting and reporting on the implementation status of these arrangements.
Serve as the primary point of contact for all electrical function-related queries and issues on-site, providing expert guidance and support to the project team.
Coordinate closely with the project management team and other stakeholders to ensure that electrical installation activities align with the overall project schedule and objectives.
Undertake specific activities and tasks as required by the Electrical function, contributing to the successful delivery of the project.
Ensure all work is performed in accordance with health and safety regulations, promoting a culture of safety on-site.

Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field.
Proven experience as an Electrical Supervisor or similar role, with a strong background in supervising EC&I installations and maintenance within a project environment.
Comprehensive knowledge of CDM 2015 regulations and their application in the control and supervision of electrical work.
Valid Security Clearance (SC) or the ability to obtain one prior to commencement of employment.
Excellent communication and leadership skills, with the ability to manage and motivate a team of electrical professionals.
Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team, managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
