Electrical Supervisor / QS

Low Carbon Recruitment are currently partnered with a long‑established renewable energy specialist based in Kent who have been operating for over 25 years across the South, London & the Midlands. With a team of 30+ engineers already in place, they support domestic social housing, commercial sites and public sector clients with modern low carbon electrical systems. As with the engineers the areas of work will mainly be London but you will need to be prepared to travel on some occasions.

They’ve built a strong reputation for safety, quality and reliable service, and due to continued growth, They are looking for an experienced Electrician who can take responsibility for the company's electrical compliance and Qualified Supervisor duties, whilst remaining hands-on in the field carrying out technical diagnostics, fault finding, maintenance and repairs.

The position will involve supervising and supporting a team of field Electricians, ensuring all electrical work meets current regulations and industry standards. You will also be responsible for NICEIC compliance, electrical certification, technical audits and providing guidance to Engineers when dealing with more complex electrical faults.

The work involves a variety of renewable technologies including Solar PV, Battery Storage, EV Charging and Heat Pump systems. Previous experience across all these technologies isn't essential, as full training can be provided for the right person with a strong electrical background.

This is a field-based position with dedicated time allocated each month to complete Qualified Supervisor responsibilities, inspections and compliance paperwork.

Electrical Supervisor / Qualified Supervisor – Requirements

* Previous experience as an Electrical Supervisor / Qualified Supervisor or the ability to step into a QS position.

* NVQ Level 3 Electrical Installation or equivalent (essential).

* 18th Edition Wiring Regulations (essential).

* C&G 2391 Testing & Inspection or equivalent (essential).

* AM2 / AM2S / AM2E qualification, as applicable (essential).

* NICEIC Qualified Supervisor registration or eligibility to become registered.

* Strong experience in electrical fault finding, testing, inspection and certification.

* Experience supervising Electricians and ensuring compliance with electrical regulations.

* Solar PV, Battery Storage or EV Charging experience (desirable – training provided).

* Good organisational skills and ability to complete technical reports and certification.

* Full UK Driving Licence.

* DBS check or willingness to undergo one.

Electrical Supervisor / Qualified Supervisor – Salary & Remuneration

* Basic Salary: £55,000 – £60,000, depending on experience and qualifications (including QS responsibility allowance).

* Hours 8am - 5pm

* Performance-related bonus scheme with capped and uncapped earning opportunities.
