Electrical Supervisor (Rail)

We are currently recruiting for an experienced Electrical Supervisor to join a major rail infrastructure team delivering projects across Scotland.

This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced rail electrical professional looking to take responsibility for supervising site teams and ensuring electrical works are delivered safely, efficiently and to the required standards.

The Role

Supervise electrical installation and maintenance works across rail projects

*

Lead and coordinate electrical site teams and subcontractors

*

Ensure works are delivered safely and in line with RAMS, drawings and specifications

*

Monitor progress and ensure works remain on programme

*

Coordinate labour, materials, plant and equipment

*

Carry out site inspections and monitor quality

*

Liaise with Project Managers, Engineers, clients and other contractors

*

Support testing, commissioning and handover activities

*

Ensure compliance with relevant rail, electrical and health & safety standards

*

Promote a strong safety culture across site

About You

*

Proven experience supervising electrical works within the rail industry

*

Strong understanding of the rail environment and electrical infrastructure

*

Experience managing site teams and subcontractors

*

Confident reading electrical drawings and working to RAMS

*

Strong communication and leadership skills

*

Able to manage programmes, resources and competing priorities

*

PTS essential

*

Relevant electrical qualification required

*

18th Edition / SMSTS / SSSTS desirable
