The Electrical Support Technician job will suit: We are looking for a candidate with an electrical engineering / electronics engineering / control systems background that would enjoy a truly varied engineering role including product service and repair, providing product technical support to customers and engineering teams, product testing, and onsite support. You could have gained your experience in a variety of roles e.g. Service Engineer, Technical Support Engineer, Electrical Engineer, Electronics Engineer, Systems Engineer, Commissioning Engineer etc…. Any knowledge or experience of PLC programming, control systems, SCADA systems or similar technology would be advantageous. You are likely to hold a relevant engineering qualification in an electrical engineering, electronics engineering or similar engineering discipline. Able to undertake some UK travel. This Electrical Support Technician will involve: Carry out planned service and repair of industry leading products and systems – this is mainly done in-house alongside customer site visits. Reactive / product breakdown maintenance and repair support. Provide onsite technical / maintenance support to customer engineering teams as required. Communicating with internal engineering teams and customers.
