Projects are based in London and the Southeast and cover various sectors including Healthcare, Residential Regeneration, Schools and Data Centres with values ranging from £5m - £130m. You will assist the Electrical Technical Manager in the delivery and technical authorisation of Electrical design information; from prequalification to completion with an emphasis on preconstruction (RIBA Plan of Work Stages 3 to 6 / BSRIA BG6 Stages 3 to 6). You will build and lead effective relationships with MEP Consultants, Digital Engineering Coordinators and Specialist CDP Designers to maximise value/opportunity and mitigate risk. Responsibilities: • Support the Electrical Technical Manager in delivering the designs • Support and mentor Junior Engineers • Contribute to Designing for Safety and CDM • Undertake granular design reviews and manage technical risks • Monitor MEP design progress. • Validate site installation and system operation against the design Requirements: • Experience within a design consultancy / D&B contractor • HND / NVQ in Electrical or Building Services This opportunity will present you with an exciting opportunity to develop your career long term within a supportive and encouraging environment offering structure and support.
