Electrical Test Engineer

As the Electrical Test Engineer, you will be responsible for the inspection, testing, and commissioning of electrical and instrumentation panels/systems, both in-house and on-site. You will ensure that all work is completed to specification and within deadlines, liaising closely with the customer to ensure the successful completion of the projects.

Additionally, you will assist in the building and wiring of control panels when required, as well as attend sites to carry out modifications to existing or new panels.

The successful Electrical Test Engineer will possess the following qualifications and experience:

• City & Guilds 2391 Test & Inspection qualification (desirable)
• City & Guilds 2382 18th Edition qualification (desirable)
• Time-served electrician/instrument technician background
• Experience in testing industrial control panels, on-site installation work, and commissioning of systems
• Knowledge and understanding of 3-phase systems, MCC control panels, PLC systems, and schematic drawings
• Small bore pipe pressure testing experience
