Electrical Test Engineer

Belmont Recruitment are currently recruiting for an Electrician to work with our client based in the Nottingham area on a temporary basis. This is a full-time role working 37 hours per week, Monday to Friday.

Overview:

The successful candidate will be responsible for carrying out electrical testing and verification across various sites throughout the Nottingham area, with a particular focus on completing Electrical Installation Condition Reports (EICRs) in line with BS7671 wiring regulations

Main Duties:

* Carry out electrical testing and verification across various sites

* Complete Electrical Installation Condition Reports (EICRs)

* Ensure all electrical testing is carried out in accordance with BS7671 wiring regulations

* Identify and report any electrical defects or issues

* Travel across the Nottingham area as required

* Work flexibly to accommodate occasional early morning or late evening requirements

Essential Criteria:

* Previous experience working as an Electrician

* Strong experience in electrical inspection and testing

* Experience completing EICRs

* Good knowledge of BS7671 wiring regulations

* City & Guilds 2391 qualification is desirable

* Previous experience working on large commercial properties is desirable

* Full UK driver's license to travel across the Nottingham area as required

* Flexibility to work occasional early morning or late evening hours
