Electrical/Mechanical Engineer

Our client, a UK leader in Cooling and Heating equipment hire for process and HVAC applications, is currently seeking a Depot Electrical/Mechanical Engineer to join their expanding team based at their head office in Eastleigh, Hampshire. This contract role offers an exciting opportunity to work alongside a dedicated warehouse team, contributing to high levels of service and equipment provision to customers across the UK.

• Testing and fault-finding equipment from returned hire contracts
• Servicing depot equipment, including AC & heating equipment (training provided)
• PAT testing equipment
• Placing orders for electrical components from suppliers
• Supporting electrical R&D projects

• Good understanding of electrical controls and ability to follow and understand electric wiring diagrams
• Previous experience in electrical and mechanical fault finding and repairs
• PAT testing experience (training can be provided)
• Good computer skills for managing repair equipment on management software
