Electrician

Electrician required for our client, a well-established M&E contractor based in West Yorkshire that specialises in projects and contracts within the commercial sector, with a salary of up to £42k on offer, with a company van, door to door travel pay, and opportunities to progress into management.

Electrician Position Remuneration

• Salary £35,000 - £42,000, depending on experience
• Company van provided, with personal use available
• 40 hour working week, Monday - Friday
• Overtime paid at 1.5x for anything over 8 hours, with additional rates agreed for any weekend/evening work undertaken
• Door to door travel paid
• 32 days holiday, including bank holidays

Our client offers a range of services within the M&E sector to clients across Yorkshire and the Humber from their offices based just outside Leeds, and are part of a large group of companies that has been in operation for over 40 years and turn over upwards of £40m per annum. They work largely within the commercial sector, with their client base including a number of schools, colleges, hospitals, and prisons.

Electrician Position Responsibilities

• Travelling to a variety of commercial sites across Yorkshire and the Humber, completing planned/reactive electrical maintenance
• Completing regular electrical testing, including submitting all NICEIC reports to company QS
• Taking part in regular training opportunities with the idea to eventually progress into a management position within the business

Electrician Position Requirements

• Qualified Electrician, ideally from an apprenticeship background
• 18th Edition essential, with JIB Gold Card & 2391 (or equivalent), desirable but not essential
• Either currently hold or confident in being able to get an Enhanced DBS certificate upon starting
• Full UK driving licence
