Electrician

About the role
Opportunity for an Electrician to join our Responsive Repairs team on permanent, full-time basis working 39 hours per week: 8:00am-4:30pm Monday-Thursday & 8:00am-3:30pm on Friday. You will live within the Milton Keynes/Stevenage area to ensure we can get to our customers promptly.

Essential Skills & Experience:

• Certificated Electrician qualifications and demonstrated experience in domestic and commercial electrical works.
• Proven knowledge and experience in electrical fixed wire testing, installing, and maintaining up to 230v/415v.
• Ability to correctly complete the relevant certifications, follow agreed procedures and accurately record data and information.
• Ability to accurately interpret technical data & drawings and instructions.
• Experience working in a customer-focused environment within agreed performance targets.
• Ability to carry out physical tasks and lift weights in accordance with health and safety guidelines.
• Good working knowledge of Health & Safety Practices.

Essential Qualifications:

• City and Guilds 236 Pt 1 & 2 (or NVQ Level 3).
• 17th or 18th Edition Wiring Regulations BS7671.
• Full UK driving licence.

Desirable:

• 2+ years’ experience of completing EICR’s.
• City & Guilds 2391 Inspection and Testing or equivalent.
