Electrician

We’re looking for qualified Electrical Engineers for our Wiltshire based client, working across domestic and commercial installations. Install, maintain, and repair electrical systems; diagnose faults; carry out testing; and ensure all work meets safety and regulatory standards.

Key Responsibilities

* Install, maintain, modify and repair electrical systems in domestic and commercial environments.

* Ensure all electrical systems comply with national safety standards and regulations.

* Work from plans, wiring schematics, and manufacturers’ manuals.

* Diagnose and repair electrical issues, including fault finding, rewiring, testing and monitoring.

* Assess and order required parts, completing work orders and recording materials used.

* Conduct routine maintenance and testing to manufacturer standards.

* Identify and resolve electrical problems, escalating where necessary.

* Maintain high standards of workmanship, complying with building codes and safety regulations.

Person Specification

* City & Guilds 2360 and 2382 (or equivalent) / ECS Gold Card

* City & Guilds 2391 Inspection & Testing Certificate

* Strong working knowledge of IEE Regulations and NICEIC requirements

* Previous experience as an Electrician or Electrical Improver

* Excellent attention to detail and numeracy skills

* Strong customer service approach; friendly and flexible attitude

* Proven ability to deliver results and follow safety processes

* Strong communication skills and ability to work independently or within a team

* Good organisational and time management skills

* Full UK driving licence essential

* £36,000 - £41,000 DOE

* Full-time: Mon–Thu 07:30–16:30, Fri 07:30–16:00

* One-way paid travel (25+ miles)
